Today for Black Business Month, we feature David and Christi Lott.

We are Realtors® in the Greater Phoenix Valley of Arizona and strive to help our clients grow their wealth through real estate. Owning your home is the greatest way to increase your net worth, and a lifetime of renting only grows the net worth of the landlord. We help buyers, sellers, and investors with all of their real estate needs, but we especially love helping first time home buyers! Since 2017 we have helped over 100 families buy and sell real estate. Most of our first time home buyer clients purchase homes that are well within their comfort range and often times obtain a mortgage payment that is very close to what they were paying in rent and sometimes less!

The median family net worth for all homeowners is $231,400 and increased by nearly 15% since 2013, while the net worth of $5,000 actually declined by 9% since 2013 for renter families. Equity, appreciation, and predictable monthly housing expenses are huge financial benefits of homeownership. Homeownership is truly the best way to improve your long-term net worth and grow the wealth of your family and legacy.

We especially love building Black homeownership and helping to increase the number of black homeowners in this country.  "Black homeownership is in crisis. Although homeownership rates for other racial groups have largely recovered since the 2008 housing crisis, Black homeownership continues to decline, recently hitting an all-time low in the first quarter of this year.  Homeownership is beneficial for building household wealth, increasing intergenerational economic mobility, offering a hedge against inflation, and increasing civic engagement, all of which make the ongoing decline in black homeownership deeply troubling." ~ Urban.org

David and I pride ourselves in the care and expertise that we provide to our clients. We guide, advise, and educate our clients on the entire real estate purchase and sales process. We protect their interests by introducing them to trusted and proven home loan lenders, honest and knowledgeable home inspectors, roofers, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians.

The task of purchasing real estate may seem daunting and complicated but we provide a Buyer or Seller Guide to our clients. They are able to browse homes and communities on our website and read our informational blogs. We walk them through the process, we communicate constantly, we negotiate hard for them and we are by their side to the close of escrow and beyond!

We are a husband and wife real estate team and a black-owned business who are experienced, caring, knowledgeable, and qualified!
